Faith Beyond The Veil Collection

Every piece of jewelry I create is handmade and filled with meaning. Each stone carries a symbolic message. For this collection, I aimed to highlight something special during the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) season.

Although many in the world — and even some of us as Christians — build altars or shrines to honor loved ones who have passed, it’s important to pause and examine where our hearts stand when we do this. Are we idolizing those who have gone before us? Are we trapped in grief, bitterness, or unanswered questions? Has our faith been tested, or have we allowed sorrow to distance us from God?

Our heart posture matters. These reflections inspired me to create a faith-based jewelry collection grounded in truth — to remind us that even through mourning and loss, our hope and worship belong to Jesus Christ alone.

This set features Black Onyx, Orange Carnelian Agate, Citrine, and White Opal Preciosa Czech Crystals — each chosen for its powerful symbolism:

  • Black Onyx – Represents grief and mourning; the pain of loss, trials, and tribulations.

  • Orange Carnelian Agate – Symbolizes the healing and renewal that follow hardship.

  • Citrine – Signifies restoration and the joy that comes after brokenness.

  • White Opal Preciosa Czech Crystal – Reflects the constant presence of the Lord through it all.

 The Message Behind the Collection

This jewelry serves as a reminder that no matter what we face — how dark, hopeless, or painful it may feel — God is always with us. Even when we cannot feel Him, He remains omnipresent. Through the grief, the despair, and the refining fire, He walks beside us. Healing often requires revisiting the pain, and though it may worsen before it gets better, His presence never leaves us.

Through these moments of breaking and rebuilding, we mature. We gain compassion and understanding that allow us to comfort others. In doing so, we become living testimonies of God’s faithfulness and hope.

Take Job, for example. Satan himself asked God for permission to test Job’s faith. Job lost everything — his family, his health, his wealth, his home — yet he never cursed God. Even when his wife urged him to give up and his friends questioned his righteousness, Job remained steadfast. Yes, he wavered in weakness, but he also recognized that he was no one to question God’s will. And through it all, Job continued to glorify Him. In the end, God restored Job with double the livestock, double the wealth, and a new family.

This story reminds us of the mighty God we serve.

Another example dear to my heart is my grandmother, who passed away in 2017. She embodied transcendent faith. Though she lost two of her children and her husband, she never cursed God or let bitterness consume her. She mourned deeply, yet she lifted her hands in praise and thanked Him for the time she was given with each of them. Her strength and unwavering faith left me in awe. It takes extraordinary grace and spiritual maturity to thank God even in loss.

This collection is my way of sharing that same faith — to inspire and encourage others that you, too, can have transcendent faith. You can walk through the fire with steadfast belief and be refined by faith in every season of life.

I am on this same journey. I am not perfect. I am not without sin. But I am redeemed and perfected through the grace of God. Each day, my faith is tested, and each day I strive to grow closer to Him. A relationship with God requires intention and devotion; when we stop seeking Him, our faith weakens.

Every day is a spiritual battle, but we are not alone. God is faithful, merciful, and ever-present.

This is what inspired me to create this limited collection — a testimony in jewelry form — as a reminder that our faith, no matter how tested, can rise from the ashes stronger and more radiant than ever.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Share it with someone who might need a spark of hope today. May it touch your heart the way it did mine.

With love and light,
